New for 2010, Offshore sperm whale surveys, in Italy and Greece
We charter the latest yachts in beautiful locations and guide small groups of cetacean enthusiasts towards memorable whale and dolphin encounters. If you've ever stood on the deck of a whale watching boat and wished there were less people and more time, then now's your chance.
Our 2010 programme begins in late Febuary and March in Mexico's astonishing Sea of Cortes, where we can look forward to many cetacean sightings in this beautiful corner of the world. We will be renting a 42 foot catamaran and taking just six guests with us on each trip.
In May and early June, we're back in Europe on a tour of the volcanic Aeolian Islands north of Sicily to witness the power of nature at first hand. These trips include guided tours of the volcanoes with local experts combined with time spent cruising the islands.
In July, we are hoping to secure a boat in order to cruise the Hellenic Trench off Greece in search of sperm whales on our very own Greek odyssey. Let me know if this trip appeals.
Otherwise, the plans remain fluid. We managed a week off Ireland in 2009 with some spectacular dolphin days along with minke whales, harbour porpoise and basking sharks. The idea of Belize and her whale sharks and reefs has also been gathering momentum. Details will follow.
If the thought of these adventures stirs your soul then journey with us awhile upon the sea where nature still prevails and where, in spite of man, life piled on life bursts at the seams of the imagination.
