If you've ever stood on the deck of a whale watching boat and wished there were less people and more time, then now's your chance.
Our programme for 2008 is now taking shape. We begin in late February and March with our fifth trip to Mexico's astonishing Sea of Cortes,where we can look forward to many cetacean sightings in this beautiful corner of the world.
In May and early June, we're back in Europe on a tour of the volcanic Aeolian Islands north of Sicily to witness the power of nature at first hand. These trips include guided tours of the volcanoes with local experts combined with time spent cruising the islands.
In July, we are staying in the Mediterranean to assist in locating and identifying sperm whales near Mallorca as part of ongoing research into a little known population that has been classified as vulnerable by the Spanish government. In August we are making the short hop down to the Straits of Gibraltar to check out this busy cetacean highway in the hope of catching sight of the orcas that frequent the area at this time.
Towards the end of September we are planning a trip to Belize to chill out among the coral reefs with half an eye on the lookout for whale sharks. Details of this trip will appear soon.
